Susan Winter, a life-long conservative, was born and reared in Miami OK, educated at the University of Tulsa (BA-Elementary Education and English) and by choice, retired to Kansas in 2009 from metro Washington, D.C. Married to Larry for 43 years and mother to two children that are now proud conservative adults, they moved many states due to Larry’s career with the OCC (Office of the Comptroller of the Currency). She volunteered with the presidential campaigns in AR (Bush-41), in OH (Bush-43), and the campaigns in VA (Bush-43 and McCain), in addition to these, volunteered at the inauguration of President George W. Bush, remaining an active member of his Presidential Library. Susan has served in leadership positions in Junior League (Sustainer, now), P.E.O. (chapter president), and the Chi Omega sorority.
