Katherine (Lauer) Hogan was born in Wichita, but soon moved to Marysville where she lived the majority of her childhood. She graduated from Marysville High school in 2018. She went on to attend the University of Kansas where she pursued a degree in Biology. After graduating in the spring of 2021, she briefly worked at the conservative non-profit organization, Turning Point USA. Following that, she became the legislative liaison to the Speaker of the Kansas House of Representatives, Ron Ryckman Jr.
She married her husband, Patrick in September 2021. They currently reside in Prairie Village where she is a stay-at-home mom to their 11-month-old son, William.
