Jill grew up in Perry, Kansas, surrounded by a very close-knit family. At 20, Jill vacationed in Montana where she stayed for 8 years, eventually marrying and starting a family before moving back to her hometown. Dedicated to raising a family, Jill stayed at home with her children before going to work at the elementary school where they attended. Since then, she has served for a district attorney, general counsel for public transit, and the Assistant Kansas Insurance Commissioner. Currently, Jill is the property administrator for KU Endowment Association. Jill and Kresten have been married for 27 years and have two grown children.
