Holly Palacio

Holly and her husband Lou live in Olathe and have raised three children, daughter Anna, 20, son Daniel, 18 and son Michael, 16. When Michael was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder at 4 months old, Holly began her advocacy for his health and education. This advocacy continued to include literacy and education reform at the State and local levels and she is currently a candidate for the Olathe School Board. Holly is an active board member in the international non profit KanKen Connect which promotes literacy in rural Kenya. She is also an active volunteer at Grace Church Olathe where her family attends and in the Olathe Public Schools as a mentor and AVID tutor. Holly is a proud member of the Starlight Republican Women, the Olathe Republican Party, Johnson County Young Republicans, Elephant Club, and associate member of the NE Johnson County Republican Women. Holly is most looking forward to meeting other Republican women leaders across the State and having the opportunity to visit her birthplace, Dodge City, when the class travels West.
