Holly Lofton works as the director of the Lindsborg Convention and Visitors Bureau and is the current president of the Travel Industry Association of Kansas. She also serves on the Kansas State Fair Board, the South-Central Kansas Tourism Region Board, and the Kansas 250 Commission, planning how Kansas will celebrate, in 2026, the 250th anniversary of our nation’s anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Holly was a member of the 2016 Leadership Kansas class, traveling the state to learn more about current state issues.
Holly and her husband Craig live in Lindsborg and have five grown children, one of whom continues to live at home, allowing them to advocate for his special needs. Ty was diagnosed with autism at the age of four and Holly has continued to work with families that are affected by autism, providing both valuable connections and encouragement. Ty’s successful work placement, after his graduation from high school, resulted in her working with the State of Kansas to employ other young adults on the autism spectrum. She has served, for nearly 20 years, on the Council of Community Members for Disabilities in McPherson County and continues to advocate for those with special needs.
