Emily Beam

Emily Beam is currently the Principal at Beam Consulting Group. She grew up in Wichita, KS and graduated from Kansas State University where she earned a degree in Business Administration. While obtaining her degree, she worked in Governor Jeff Colyer’s office for a short stint before transitioning over to the campaign side and worked as a fundraising assistant on his 2018 gubernatorial campaign. Although that race was unsuccessful, almost a year later she was offered the position of Finance Director on Tracey Mann’s 2020 congressional campaign. That campaign was successful, and when the Congressman took office in January 2021, she moved to DC to serve as Congressman Mann’s Scheduler and then Operations Director.
 
She moved back to Kansas in April 2023 and has been ready to get involved in her new community in Topeka. Initially, she worked for the Kansas Credit Union Association but have since stepped out on her own and started her own political consulting and lobbying firm. She met her now-husband in DC working for Congressman Mann and was married in October 2023.
