Claudia Fury

Claudia Fury is currently a junior at Washburn University studying Political Science. She has served as the president of the Washburn College Republicans since the fall of 2021 in addition to serving on the College Republican State Board since March of 2022. As president of the Washburn CR’s she worked with a group of students to host speaker Michael Knowles, a political commentator and host at the Daily Wire. She is currently involved in campaign work for the Republican House Campaign Committee (RHCC). In addition to working for the RHCC, she knocked doors and made phone calls for the Value Them Both campaign prior to the August 2nd primary. She has gained valuable experience in the Kansas State Legislature as an intern during the 2022 session. Prior to her engagement in politics, she lived in Wichita where she graduated from Kapaun Mt. Carmel High School playing both soccer and tennis. While living in Wichita, she and her family have been active parishioners at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish for over 15 years.
