Public Biography

Brittany Jones serves as the Director of Policy and Engagement for Kansas Family Voice & General Counsel for Kansas Family Foundation. In her role, Brittany works with legislators and advocacy coalitions to pass good law that promotes a Kansas where God is honored, religious liberty flourishes, families thrive, and life is cherished. Brittany focuses on the issues of religious freedom, life, education freedom, and combating pornography and other cultural pariahs. She has the privilege of shepherding policy through the legislative and administrative process while working alongside policy makers at all levels of government. 

Brittany got her start in politics when she was seven years old and has been actively involved in campaigns, state government, and grassroots efforts ever since. Most recently she was a lead advocate for the Fairness in Women’s Sports Act and the Protecting Kids Online Act that protects children from pornography.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Louisiana College in History with a minor in Political Science and a juris doctorate from Regent University School of Law. She is licensed to practice law in Washington, D.C and Kansas. In college, she was the 2011 Smith Scholar. She served as the President of the Student Government Association and President and Founder of LC Students for Life. While in law school she was the Symposium Editor for the Journal of Global Justice, Hospitality Director for the Moot Court Board, and Vice President for the Student Bar Association. She worked as a legal intern for the Family Research Council in Washington, D.C. and for the American Center for Law and Justice in Virginia Beach, VA.
