Name | Amy Butler |
Public Biography | I’m a stay at home mom that’s rarely at home! A part time substitute teacher with Andover schools, as well as working part time as a merchandiser for Brahmin Handbags, I also help manage and market our family country rental property, Timber Creek Lodge, located in Butler County. I am originally from Andover, growing up and graduating from the community I still reside in! My husband of 23 years, is from South Texas; we met while stationed at McConnell Air Force Base. Before leaving the workforce to stay at home with our first child 18 years ago, I worked in marketing for an avionics manufacturer in Wichita. I received a BA in Art History from University of Kansas in 1994. I’m passionate about philanthropic pursuits and giving time to worthwhile organizations and my community, and I have served on various Boards and chaired numerous fundraising committees. I’m a fitness and wellness enthusiast, enjoy studying the Bible with other women, spending time with my family & extended family, reading, and anything outdoors. My husband and I have two children, ages 17 and 13. |
